Smått överraskande har Leonard Peikoff, objektivisten Ayn Rands arvtagare, valt att stödja John Kerry i höstens val. För vissa kanske det mest skulle handla om att inte rösta på den i vissa kretsar självskrivne G W Bush. Men för Peikoff (som i Sverige lite slarvigt skulle kallas nyliberal) betyder det att aktivt försöka få folk att rösta på en kandidat han ogillar

Inte ens i frågan om motstånd mot FN (där många objektivister tagit ledningen, och skapat sidor som unisevil.com) ger Peikoff några poäng åt den sittande presidenten.

Even in regards of the UN, to which he allegedly stood up for 30 seconds, and has been sucking up to ever since. But the big difference is this: Whatever the superficial similarities, Bush is working to receive[?] a massive entrenchment of fundamentalism into our government and political system. Kerry has no such agenda.
